Sherfane Rutherford joined Sunrisers Hyderabad only in the 2nd leg of IPL 2021 as he was signed as a replacement player for Jonny Bairstow, the England all-rounder who pulled out of the remainder of the tournament, citing workload.”The #SRH family conveys its heartfelt condolences to Sherfane Rutherford and his family on the passing away of his father. Sherfane will be leaving the IPL bio-bubble to be with his family in this difficult hour,” Sunrisers said in a social media statement.Rutherford was in fine form in the recenly-concluded Caribbean Premier League as the West Indies star hit 263 runs in 11 matches.
